Aim and Objectives of the AGIC


The main purpose/aim of the AGIC is:


  1. BulletTo provide a forum to bring together all key sectors of the Australian Golf Industry to work in a co-ordinated way to grow, develop and promote the game of golf.


Some of the key objectives of the Council are to:


  1. a)represent the Australian Golf Industry as an advocacy group on industry wide issues

  2. b)progress agreed industry projects which will be of benefit to the Australian Golf Industry as a whole;

  3. c)develop and monitor an industry research strategy;

  4. d)develop and monitor industry wide plans designed to progress cohesion and collaboration across the industry.



The assets and income of the AGIC shall be applied solely in furtherance of its above-mentioned aim and objectives and no portion shall be distributed directly or indirectly to the members of the organisation except as bona fide compensation for services rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the organisation.


In the event of the organisation being dissolved, the amount that remains after such dissolution and the satisfaction of all debts and liabilities shall be transferred to another organisation with similar purposes which is not carried on for the profit or gain of its individual members.’
