Professional Golfers Association of Australia (PGA) (http://www.pga.org.au) representing over 2,500 club, teaching and tournament golf professionals.

 

Golf Australia (http://www.golfaustralia.org.au)- – the national sporting organisation for golf, with membership comprising all State and Territory men’s and women’s amateur golf associations.

 

Australian Golf Course Superintendents Association (AGCSA) -(http://www.agcsa.com.au) –representing the Association’s 750 members throughout of the golf/turf industry.

 

Golf Management Australia (http://www.gma.org.au)– representing over 300 golf club managers.

 

PGA Tour of Australasia (http://www.pgatour.com.au)– PGA Tour of Australasia is the official sanctioning body for elite professional tournament golf in Australia and New Zealand and is the regional representative on the International Federation of PGA Tours. The PGA Tour comprises membership of 200 tournament playing professionals on the Australasian and other international PGA Tours.

 

Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) (http://www.alpgtour.com) Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) is the national body incorporating tournament playing and accredited teaching professionals from Australia and New Zealand. Of the 180 members, around 50 compete on the Australian and International Tours. ALPG is the sanctioning body for women’s professional golf in Australia.

 

Women’s Golf NSW (http://www.wgnsw.org.au)– ensures the views of women golfers are directly represented on the Council.

 

Society of Australian Golf Course Architects (SAGCA) (http://www.sagca.org.au) – representing the society with members across Australia and overseas.

 

Australian Sporting Goods Association (http://www.asga.com.au) – the peak body representing  a broad spectrum of sporting goods industry participants ranging from manufacturers, importers and wholesalers through to retailers.  Members include adidas, Puma, Rebel and Sportsco, as well as leading golf brands in Australia. 

 

Major Australian Golf Manufacturers and Suppliers

Srixon Sports Australasia and Callaway Golf Australia representatives have been elected to the Council to represent views of this sector of the industry which comprises companies such as Acushnet, Bridgestone Australia, TaylorMade-adidas, Ping American Golf Supplies, Wilson Sporting Goods, Brosnan Golf Australia, Sporte Leisure etc

Club Car represents this sector of the industry which also involves the Yamaha Golf Cart Company and EZGO Golf carts, a Textron Company.

 

Golf Electronic and Written Media

Fox Sports represents the electronic media

Australian Golf Writers Association represents the written media (as an observer)

 

Golf Real Estate and Development - Handbury Group represents this sector of the industry.
